Dr. Nicole Finch has been involved with animal health since she was a child. At age 5 she grew up with horses, and was taught to care for them. She is a proud Sun Devil, receiving her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University, and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University, with a focus and specialty on equine and large animals. Dr. Finch has worked at some of the most prestigious racetracks in the country, and personally requested to treat Triple Crown contenders Justify and American Pharoah. 

Dr. Finch is a proud Army veteran, and former U.S.D.A. port Veterinary Medical Officer, in charge of inspecting and certifying cattle and horse imports to the United States from abroad, against disease. She also worked with Customs and Border Patrol to intercept and quarantine illegal and diseased animals being smuggled across the Mexican border. 

Dr. Finch lives in Bisbee with her husband, too many chickens, a Belgian Malinois, a hound dog, and a black cat named Blackie Onassis.
